Flyin' Kites

Today was such a lovely day! The girls and I dropped off their pictures at the modeling agency for the owner to pick out which ones will go on the website and comp cards and then got some lunch. I stopped by The Rustic Hutch (LOVE that store!) and saw that there was an awesome sale going on- and extra 20% off clearance stuff! Then off to Old Navy to use the gift card my father in law gave me. Thanks to him and the sale at ON I got an awesome dress, a t-shirt, 2 pairs of flip-flops for me and a dress and 4 pairs of flip-flops for the girls. I think I did pretty darn well! Cory left work early so we took the kids to Freestone Park to fly kites. It was *the* perfect day for kite flying. There was a nice breeze and it wasn't too warm. Cory took the girls on a train ride and we got snow cones after. It was such a fun little time. I really want the girls to remember times like this when they get older.
On another note- Kennedy is getting up on her hands and knees and in the "push-up" position and boy is she proud of herself! She'll be crawling in no time! She also started clucking her tongue today. She was staring me down when I had the snow cone and just started clucking. I thought it was so cute so I gave her a little taste. After that she would do it and then wait for another bite, silly baby!
